Visiting Bardsey

We are close to the centre of the historic village of Bardsey. Our garden adjoins church land and the church itself is well worth a visit, as it is one the finest examples of Anglo Saxon architecture in West Yorkshire.

A few minutes walk from the garden, the Bingley Arms is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest inn in the country. It's a fascinating building, steeped in history. Thereís lots to see -from the two ĎPriestís Holesí to the working Dutch Oven, and now the Art Gallery. The pub is a welcoming place for a snack in the bar or a meal in the Trenchermanís Bowl restaurant. Many of our visitors include it as part of their itinerary. We can arrange lunch or dinner bookings for parties.
